Twenty-nine Palms Mountain

Desert Peaks activities in recent weeks have included two fine trips. The first to Twenty-nine Palms Mtn. on Nov. 7-8, was ably led by Willard Dean who hustled some 21 persons to the summit in the Pinto Mts, amid sunshine and warmth. A very nice evening campfire on Saturday served to round out the social part of the trip and all returned, sunburned, to their cars in mid-afternoon, Sunday for the drive home.
